A.TH.PETROU (Land Developers & Traders) is a private limited company registered with the registrar of Companies since 1992, where it has had no change in the owners of its share capital, since incorporation.

Been in business for over thirteen years we have completed many successful projects (see existing projects) in the Area of Oroklini in Larnaca, an area where most of our activity has been concentrated on due to its location: a higher plain where sea views can be breath taking and is also very near the British Sovereign base of Dhekelia.

The secret in our success in this rather competitive industry of the last four years has been based on the careful choice of plots whilst keeping quality standards constant at the upper most levels using grade A materials at all stages of the construction process.

The company directors considered it a challenge to move to a higher scale project of building 107 holiday apartments (divided into 2 complexes) at the area of Pervolia, Larnaca and 23 holiday villas at the area of Ayios Theodoros, Larnaca.  

Pervolia is a village situated approximately one kilometre away from the sea and five kilometers from Larnaca town where all amenities can be accessed.  

Ayios Theodoros (Mazotos borders) is a village situated approximately 500 meters away from the sea and is served with a very good transportation network. Not only are the villas just 50 meters from the beach there are only a short drive away from the new golf course of Tersefanou.    

Currently out of the three projects there are no apartments or villas available for sale due to the fact that all where agreed as soon as the plans released and 100% of the buyers are from the United Kingdom.

The way the challenge is presented to us is in the following four ways:

- This is a much larger scale project which will introduce us into a market of the family houses moving away from the houses we used to build for the local market as well as the apartments market.

- We are trying to get the right connections in the United Kingdom, a market that is important for Cyprus in every sense and which will help us to obtain an advantage over this highly competitive period over our competitors.

- This is the first attempt to change areas where projects are being developed and careful consideration has been given to the particular area the proposed project will be developed.

- Taking advantage the new tax legislation of the Inland Revenue regarding the changes which occurred in April 2006 with the A-Day and the ability of self invested pension plans which will be allowed to invest in residential property offering great tax benefits if the customer buys his property through the pension fund.

All of the above challenges will contribute in the long run to achieve higher and faster growth rates for our company by routing our sales through the U.K market direct and bringing the product to the customer rather than waiting for the customer to look for the product.
